First off lets talk about flying out there business class straight from L.A. to Manila, that was the nicest thing someone could do for us given it is a 12 hour flight. We got hooked up the whole way there with the service and food the whole time.
When we landed in Manila we got picked up and went to eat at a nice place and to get ready to check in to our hotel which weren’t able to check in till 2pm so we decided to check out J.V's house and he offered us to stay there if we liked it.
When we pulled up we were set on staying there because the place was beautiful, I'm not going to talk about how he lives but he lives good.
We were taken care of the whole time with food all day and laundry anything you can imagine and they were the nicest people I have came across traveling over seas.
Friday-Sunday we did boat shows there was an up flat rail and a kicker with two pools with a winch, we did that for a few days which was lots of fun and it was a good turn out. There was a contest we judged on Saturday, there was a lot of good wakeboarders, wake skaters and women wakeboarders, and we judged all those divisions. Everyone rode really well.
While we were at the boat show we were staying at J.v's house and had breakfast before we left and dinner when we came home, they definitely took care of our stomachs while we were out there.
The last two days we were out there we went to a lake that was surrounded by a volcano. we did a demo and got some shots and filmed out there. Everything was set up very nice and everyone stayed out there for those two days.
I like going to these places and seeing Gator Boards blow up, a lot of people love the company, boards and riders and give us much respect. It’s a great feeling to see your sponsors like gator Boards be so popular wherever we travel.
Overall the trip was amazing and I had a great time. I want to thank J.V. , Mumph and Jameir and of course StokedInc and everyone that took care of us at the house and at the locations we were. I must say this was the best trip I have been on and I have been all over the world.

Cayman Islands March 2009
I recently went over to the Cayman Islands with Ryan Doyle and Kyle Rattray to do a 10 page story for SBC magazine. As I was flying over the beaches I was amazed on how white the sand was and how blue the water was. When we landed we checked in to our hotel and got on the road to check out the scenery and went to a place called HELL. This was a tourist stop that had everything to do with hell.
After a few times of driving around the whole island, we stopped by a canal type location for wake skating. We hooked the rope up to the car and pulled Ryan. It was a sketchy bridge that he threw down some tricks over it.
Of course We had the chance to watch the UFC fights, we tried to find the best spot that would stay open for the fights because most places close at 10pm on Saturday nights. But we found it and I wasn’t about to miss Rampage fight.
One day we went to this skate park which was insane, it was huge and I took a lot of pictures of it. there was only a few kids at the skate park, but we went to this standing wave which all of us got broke off. We were looking forward all day to ride this thing and it wasn’t easy. It was a lot of fun and we had a crowd around us which was amused with us falling over and over again.
We did a demo in front of a restaurant on the water, we rode and got some shots for a couple more days and that summed up our whole trip. Overall the trip was great and I look forward to going back there.

Life Right Now.
I just wanted to let everyone in on some updates in my life right now. I'am currently living back in my home town right now Bakersfield, Ca. Its a little different than living in Canyon Lake, but I'm still going out and riding and training and getting ready for next year. I feel like i accomplished a lot last year and I'm ready to do just that and some more this coming year.
I know in the last few blogs I mentioned my hobbies during the winter on my down times I would work on the 62 Lincoln, well unfortunetly that car is gone, but its still in the family, my brother bought it and now i have a 1963 Cadillac and a 1969 Lincoln Continental. The Caddy is a little project, its a custom car so there is always something to do to it. I'm always finding little things to buy and do to make it that much better.
As far as the Lincoln there really isnt that much things I can do to it. It was garaged for 25 years and I'm the 2nd owner. It is in immaculant condition, the only way I would ever get rid of the lincoln is if it goes to the barret Jackson auction for a lot of money.
Things have been going great with the family. My daughter is already three months and already has a little attitude. everyday something changes about her and you get too see everything grow on them. Even if she is the craziest baby as soon as she does something cute like give a little smile or laugh everything bad just went away. My son also turns 12 this month I cant believe how fast time goes by its amazing. I cant wait till one of them takes my spot as a professional athlete. as soon as my daughter can stand up sturdy I'm taking her out on the water with me.
I know a lot of rumors has been going around about Gator Boards with all the changes happening, but I can assure you we are standing strong and dont plan on going anywhere. We still have a great team and I'm proud to be a part of it.All of our gear is the best its ever been, I'm very pleased with how everything came out with my 2009 product. If you get a chance you should check it out and if you own any of my product I really would like to hear your response on how it fits you as a person and your style of riding.
I will post more when other things come about. Thanks for all the support for Gator Boards along with my self. Keep it up.
thanks

The New Stuff
The Past few months have been out of control, So I will fill you in on whats been going on. I recently got back from Spain for a Clinic and a demo. I was in Ibiza and it was amazing. The buildings and the views were nothing like we have here in the USA, but I was sure glad to be home from that long flight. Here are some pictures.
Then I was off to Russia for a contest, but got held up in Atlanta because of the weather and didnt make it to Russia untill right before the contest started. Now that place was insane. There were guys with machine guns everywhere and the craziest cars you have ever seen and the houses on the river where we were put a lot that we have to shame. I look forward going back to these places not just because where i was, but I met some amazing people and along with these trips. Here are some from Russia.
As soon as I get the rest of the riding pictures together I will post them up too.
I know I said this before that my girlfriend and I were expecting a Daughter. She finally came August 21, 2008 @ 11:42am. Her name is JayLee Rae Gonzales and she weighed 7lbs 5oz and 20 inches long. She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen and Im so glad she is a part of my life. Here are some of her first pictures.
JayLee Rae and her Puppy Link.
Thank again to everyone out there supporting Gator Boards. Our 2009 product along with my Pro model board and bindings are one of the best stuff yet so look out for it when it comes out. Thanks Again.

May 2008
What’s up everyone.
Everything has been crazy lately. I’m still training everyday; this is going to be a good year. I have gone to two double up contest these past few weeks. I won the C.I.E Spring Ride Double Up Contest. That event was a lot of fun and it was a great turn out. Last year it was a really windy and made it really hard to ride, but this year was money. The weather was good and the fans were great. My family came out for support; it felt good to win and have them there to see that.
This past weekend 05/09-10/2008 was the Royer Rumble and with a crazy agenda I took home 2nd place, I also got Biggest Trick. This event was at the Tachi Casino, which is about an hour and half from my hometown Bakersfield so my friends, and Family was able to come out again. The pre-Party was nice it was at the pool area and they had it set up nice. The day of the event we got to do a tour of a naval base and see the F-18 planes and the heat seeking bombs they had, At the end of the day was the event. It was a night double up contest which made it a little tricky, but we made it work and had a great time and from the looks of it everyone else had a great time too. Everyone that was there and put this event on were really great people. There were some of the top riders there and it was fun to have everyone there, which was entertainment the whole time.
As I said on my profile, We are expecting a baby and we found out it was a little girl. We are so thrilled and can’t wait to see her. We are getting everything ready for when she comes at the end of august. We decided on a name, which is going to be Jaylee Rae Gonzales. Don’t try and take it.
Like I said before this year is going to be a great year, my calendar is filling up each day and it feels good to be doing what I love every chance I get. Randall and I are going to Spain the end of this month for 10 days. Were going to be exploring Spain and teaching and meeting all kinds of people and showing our Gator Boards West Coast Love. As soon as we get back I will post some pictures up. Keep it Gangster.
