I just wanted to let everyone in on some updates in my life right now. I'am currently living back in my home town right now Bakersfield, Ca. Its a little different than living in Canyon Lake, but I'm still going out and riding and training and getting ready for next year. I feel like i accomplished a lot last year and I'm ready to do just that and some more this coming year.
I know in the last few blogs I mentioned my hobbies during the winter on my down times I would work on the 62 Lincoln, well unfortunetly that car is gone, but its still in the family, my brother bought it and now i have a 1963 Cadillac and a 1969 Lincoln Continental. The Caddy is a little project, its a custom car so there is always something to do to it. I'm always finding little things to buy and do to make it that much better.
As far as the Lincoln there really isnt that much things I can do to it. It was garaged for 25 years and I'm the 2nd owner. It is in immaculant condition, the only way I would ever get rid of the lincoln is if it goes to the barret Jackson auction for a lot of money.
Things have been going great with the family. My daughter is already three months and already has a little attitude. everyday something changes about her and you get too see everything grow on them. Even if she is the craziest baby as soon as she does something cute like give a little smile or laugh everything bad just went away. My son also turns 12 this month I cant believe how fast time goes by its amazing. I cant wait till one of them takes my spot as a professional athlete. as soon as my daughter can stand up sturdy I'm taking her out on the water with me.
I know a lot of rumors has been going around about Gator Boards with all the changes happening, but I can assure you we are standing strong and dont plan on going anywhere. We still have a great team and I'm proud to be a part of it.All of our gear is the best its ever been, I'm very pleased with how everything came out with my 2009 product. If you get a chance you should check it out and if you own any of my product I really would like to hear your response on how it fits you as a person and your style of riding.
I will post more when other things come about. Thanks for all the support for Gator Boards along with my self. Keep it up.
thanks

The New Stuff
The Past few months have been out of control, So I will fill you in on whats been going on. I recently got back from Spain for a Clinic and a demo. I was in Ibiza and it was amazing. The buildings and the views were nothing like we have here in the USA, but I was sure glad to be home from that long flight. Here are some pictures.
Then I was off to Russia for a contest, but got held up in Atlanta because of the weather and didnt make it to Russia untill right before the contest started. Now that place was insane. There were guys with machine guns everywhere and the craziest cars you have ever seen and the houses on the river where we were put a lot that we have to shame. I look forward going back to these places not just because where i was, but I met some amazing people and along with these trips. Here are some from Russia.
As soon as I get the rest of the riding pictures together I will post them up too.
I know I said this before that my girlfriend and I were expecting a Daughter. She finally came August 21, 2008 @ 11:42am. Her name is JayLee Rae Gonzales and she weighed 7lbs 5oz and 20 inches long. She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen and Im so glad she is a part of my life. Here are some of her first pictures.
JayLee Rae and her Puppy Link.
Thank again to everyone out there supporting Gator Boards. Our 2009 product along with my Pro model board and bindings are one of the best stuff yet so look out for it when it comes out. Thanks Again.

May 2008
What’s up everyone.
Everything has been crazy lately. I’m still training everyday; this is going to be a good year. I have gone to two double up contest these past few weeks. I won the C.I.E Spring Ride Double Up Contest. That event was a lot of fun and it was a great turn out. Last year it was a really windy and made it really hard to ride, but this year was money. The weather was good and the fans were great. My family came out for support; it felt good to win and have them there to see that.
This past weekend 05/09-10/2008 was the Royer Rumble and with a crazy agenda I took home 2nd place, I also got Biggest Trick. This event was at the Tachi Casino, which is about an hour and half from my hometown Bakersfield so my friends, and Family was able to come out again. The pre-Party was nice it was at the pool area and they had it set up nice. The day of the event we got to do a tour of a naval base and see the F-18 planes and the heat seeking bombs they had, At the end of the day was the event. It was a night double up contest which made it a little tricky, but we made it work and had a great time and from the looks of it everyone else had a great time too. Everyone that was there and put this event on were really great people. There were some of the top riders there and it was fun to have everyone there, which was entertainment the whole time.
As I said on my profile, We are expecting a baby and we found out it was a little girl. We are so thrilled and can’t wait to see her. We are getting everything ready for when she comes at the end of august. We decided on a name, which is going to be Jaylee Rae Gonzales. Don’t try and take it.
Like I said before this year is going to be a great year, my calendar is filling up each day and it feels good to be doing what I love every chance I get. Randall and I are going to Spain the end of this month for 10 days. Were going to be exploring Spain and teaching and meeting all kinds of people and showing our Gator Boards West Coast Love. As soon as we get back I will post some pictures up. Keep it Gangster.

MaRcH 2008
Hey guys sorry I haven’t been able to update the past couple months. It’s been a busy ride getting ready for this season. There are a lot of new things happening out there. I have been traveling a lot doing some clinics and shows, meeting a lot of new people and coming up with some new ideas to help fellow wakeboarders and myself. Not to mention my 2008 pro-model lien, which is one of my favorites so far, The boards look good and the bindings have a great design to them and are really comfortable. Check them out on the website, I hope to see people out there representing GatorBoards.
Starting this month it’s going to be hectic. Randall and I and a few others are traveling to Acapulco to do some clinics as well as doing some free riding. Its good to get out there and see some new places. After that there is a few Double Up contest coming up which Randall and I have been training everyday getting everything dialed in for these contest. Along with that training I have been getting some shots and video done almost weekly and I’m looking forward to upcoming possible ads in the Magazines so keep a look out.
There is two big upcoming double up contest in May, Then towards the end of May, We are going to go across the country and go to Spain. I defiantly cant wait for that trip, For one I have never been there and the beaches look insane and not to mention GatorBoards and Centurion Boats is growing so fast over there which makes me feel good about this sport and my sponsors.
A couple of months ago I got a hold of a really nice old car from a friend, which has to be the baddest car. It’s a 1962 Lincoln Continental. It’s almost the size of my boat, It’s that big. I was able to get it still running like a champ. It’s a flat black right now with some clean whitewalls, It has power windows along with suicide doors. Others and myself did some minor bodywork and cleaned it up a little bit. The before and after pictures are insane. If the weather is nice outside I take it for a cruise to the lake; it gets a lot of looks. I’m looking forward to working on it to make it look that much better. It rides really smooth now thanks to a few homies T-Roy and Brian. It’s a nice ride and a great purchase.
In the mix of all that I’m moving into Canyon Lake, Where I will be riding non stop still, it just wont be that much of a drive, I will be able to go just around the corner. On another note my girlfriend and I are expecting a baby the end of august which will bring something new to the tables but will be an exciting experience for the both of us. I’m determined to make the baby new upcoming wakeboarder someday, But we have a couple years before that happens.
I will continue updating while I’m on the road and keep everyone posted on this crazy year. When I get home after these trips I will put some pictures up of the locations.
Don’t forget to check out my boat For Sale on WakeWorld.com. It’s a nice boat with a Great Price, With a lot of features to offer.
Thanks
Ricky G.
