First off lets talk about flying out there business class straight from L.A. to Manila, that was the nicest thing someone could do for us given it is a 12 hour flight. We got hooked up the whole way there with the service and food the whole time.
When we landed in Manila we got picked up and went to eat at a nice place and to get ready to check in to our hotel which weren’t able to check in till 2pm so we decided to check out J.V's house and he offered us to stay there if we liked it.
When we pulled up we were set on staying there because the place was beautiful, I'm not going to talk about how he lives but he lives good.
We were taken care of the whole time with food all day and laundry anything you can imagine and they were the nicest people I have came across traveling over seas.
Friday-Sunday we did boat shows there was an up flat rail and a kicker with two pools with a winch, we did that for a few days which was lots of fun and it was a good turn out. There was a contest we judged on Saturday, there was a lot of good wakeboarders, wake skaters and women wakeboarders, and we judged all those divisions. Everyone rode really well.
While we were at the boat show we were staying at J.v's house and had breakfast before we left and dinner when we came home, they definitely took care of our stomachs while we were out there.
The last two days we were out there we went to a lake that was surrounded by a volcano. we did a demo and got some shots and filmed out there. Everything was set up very nice and everyone stayed out there for those two days.
I like going to these places and seeing Gator Boards blow up, a lot of people love the company, boards and riders and give us much respect. It’s a great feeling to see your sponsors like gator Boards be so popular wherever we travel.
Overall the trip was amazing and I had a great time. I want to thank J.V. , Mumph and Jameir and of course StokedInc and everyone that took care of us at the house and at the locations we were. I must say this was the best trip I have been on and I have been all over the world.

Cayman Islands March 2009
I recently went over to the Cayman Islands with Ryan Doyle and Kyle Rattray to do a 10 page story for SBC magazine. As I was flying over the beaches I was amazed on how white the sand was and how blue the water was. When we landed we checked in to our hotel and got on the road to check out the scenery and went to a place called HELL. This was a tourist stop that had everything to do with hell.
After a few times of driving around the whole island, we stopped by a canal type location for wake skating. We hooked the rope up to the car and pulled Ryan. It was a sketchy bridge that he threw down some tricks over it.
Of course We had the chance to watch the UFC fights, we tried to find the best spot that would stay open for the fights because most places close at 10pm on Saturday nights. But we found it and I wasn’t about to miss Rampage fight.
One day we went to this skate park which was insane, it was huge and I took a lot of pictures of it. there was only a few kids at the skate park, but we went to this standing wave which all of us got broke off. We were looking forward all day to ride this thing and it wasn’t easy. It was a lot of fun and we had a crowd around us which was amused with us falling over and over again.
We did a demo in front of a restaurant on the water, we rode and got some shots for a couple more days and that summed up our whole trip. Overall the trip was great and I look forward to going back there.
